Karen is a qualified Facial Analysis for Health & Beauty practitioner, accredited with The Goyetche Institute, Orthomolecular means 'correct molecules'. Orthomolecular medicine aims to correct health issues by creating balance and targeting underlying causes using natural substances and nutrients.

A Facial Analysis with Karen will help recognise your individual cell salt deficiencies to help you gain greater health. The condition of facial skin is a primary indicator of overall bodily health. Deficiencies in diet and metabolism, together with disease conditions, are easily observed in the face, if one knows what to look for.

A Facial Analysis with Karen will help to determine which essential cell salts (also known as tissue salts) are lacking in your body. When a diagnosis is determined, you can then remedy that condition by supplementing with the proper cell salt. Cell salts (tissue salts) exist in every human body. These are the inorganic biochemical elements found in the blood and tissues. They are the builders and the catalysts for many essential processes. For example, most people may have heard of potassium chloride, but few realise that it is a tissue salt (cell salt) essential to the digestive process. This salt unites with hydrogen to form HCL (hydrochloric acid), aids in the production of bile, serves as an alkalizer and helps in digestive enzyme formation. Therefore, it is a dynamic component of health. Twelve cell salts were identified in the 1850s by European scientists and this knowledge was soon added to the materia medica of physicians and practitioners throughout Europe.

Today, homeopathic practitioners and naturopathic doctors in the United States and other countries are beginning to revive the use of cell salt supplementation in successfully treating a spectrum of disease conditions. What do we look for? Such cues as skin colour, condition of eyebrows, size and colour of lips, musculature of the face, blemishes and inflammations, circles around or under the eyes, and many other characteristics, betray the excesses and deficiencies at work in the body.

Karen applies Health Kinesiology to determine your priority protocols with the Cell Salts and will teach you how to muscle test each and every dose. A Facial Analysis with Karen is not intended to diagnose diseases. Please use common sense and consult your health care professional when needed.

TIPS FOR PHOTOS FOR FACIAL ANALYSIS

THE HIGHEST RESOLUTIONS POSSIBLE.

If using a smart phone you MUST use the rear camera.

16 megapixels is the absolute bare minimum. 20 megapixels should be the baseline. DAYLIGHT BUT NO DIRECT SUNLIGHT REFLECTING OFF SKIN, IT WILL BLOW OUT AND BLUR ALL DETAILS. Take your photos outside in natural daylight; an overcast (cloudy) day is best. Make sure no direct sunlight is on your face, so take your photo in light shade or under cover for example. DO NOT SEND OUT-OF-FOCUS PHOTOS. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SEE EVERY PORE OF THE SKIN, AND EVERY FLAW. LANDSCAPE MODE IS BEST, using autofocus should be fine if you’re in landscape mode. TURN PHOTO ENHANCEMENT OFF if there is a setting for that.

Settings to try:

Aperture 9 or 10, this is for clarity. Shutter speed 125 or 160, this should help the shutter to go fast enough so a tripod isn’t needed. The ISO you will need to figure out for yourself. If it is shady, you can try 400 and then maybe 800. The most important thing is that you DO NOT want the photos too bright. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE PORES, DISCOLOURATION AND ALL DETAILS OF THE SKIN. Most digital cameras have viewing screens. After taking a couple of photos, have a look and zoom in as much as you can. Is it blurry? Is it too bright or too yellow? Can you see all those “awful” details we usually try to avoid? Practice makes perfect. It is unusual to want all this detail in photos.
